MiMAX Pro RG231 (Indoor Gateway)

Please make sure that you have the latest firmware installed before configuring the device; the firmware upgrade procedure is described in the user guide.
GENI Configuration
The device needs custom WiMAX configuration that is not described in the manual. In order to get to the set of pages for WiMAX configuration log in with (case is important):
- username: Operator
- password: oper1234
You should now get extended menu under the Advanced Settings as shown in Figure 1.
Select WiMAX and go to the "Profile Settings" and set it to match your configuration. For example:
- Home ID: 44:51:db
- Operator Name: GENI
- Operator Restrictions: none
- Add the list of frequencies and bandwidths for your site
The filled-in page should look like the one shown in Figure 2.
The device is acutally OpenWRT based gateway; you can telnet into it with:
- username: root
- password: wimax-iad
- advanced settings
- wimax
- profile settings
- set home ID, operator name, and set operator restriction to none
- add list of frequencies and bandwidths
- operator list
- add operator id and name
- apply
- restart
